Yea .. so I am bored @ 5:13am. What of it?

Tonight I managed to waste life away watching cheezy fearnet movies and eating shittons of grease soaked atomic wings.  Although the second movie (bruiser) made me realise that I still like the Misfits.  Why or how they ended up being in that movie I don’t know.  But yea… they were:

Sigh.  So yea… if you like corny “nerds getting picked on until they go on a cheezy murderous rampage with a somewhat whodunit theme” type movies: Definitely the flick for you.  Otherwise … Just watch Dexter reruns (NOT ON CBS).  Dex needs to come back soon… TV is sucking and SVU just got all wack last episode.  Being that I just exchanged a 50″ DLP tv for a 24″ CRT … im not too much of a tv-person at the moment (not that I ever was)

On a lighter note: I installed Zimbra on a VM at home.  I got Exim configured as a smarthost to route the traffic thru.  I figure that will benefit in case my vm eats it, I can keep other-wise lost messages spooling awaiting the de-eatification  and also, prevent mails failing for being from a dynamic ip.  Let me know if you want to try out zimbra… i’ll hook you up with an account.  mike -[at]- hostmyappz -[dot]- com

I gotta hand it to Zimbra… for a mail suite: its damn easy to use, configure and administer.  Being java-filled it can be a memory sponge… but hopefully newegg can help that out.  Although I am unsure if I should drop 80$ on an extra 4GB of ram or just wait and buy something that is worth an investment.  Being a cheap-ass, its hard trying to… do… anything…. ever.

I kind-of gave up (somewhat) on an elaborate exim configuration.  Mainly because its just too much of a bitch.  I mean, I will likely continue to work with it… but for now… its the least of my worries.

Okay… so I know the DNS app is a hunk of crap. I have to redo it.

Next day shipping on your replacement power adapter for your laptop. Yea … So I stopped in tonight after work and decided to pull out the good ol’ Precision… To my surprise I plug in the power adapter and hear a high pitched Shreik. Eff that noise … I was pissed. I went into Dell’s chat and boom they’re replacing that thing overnight. Gotta love The convenience of going with dell. I feel like one of our customers @ HMS all happy and satisfied after my problem is fixed

So … I have to redo some things on the site. I am going to redo Most of the DNS application. Some of it can be revised. It seems somewhat limited in functionality. More to come on that…

With the help of Newegg, added 2 GB of ram, I got an intel abg3945 MiniPCIe wifi card and swapped the XP pro for ubuntu.

Blame it on the robots… or just actually have sex with them.  Yea .. Some things are just weird. But then again … Is it as weird as doll prostitutes?
